A Anusl P34 nozzle high above kitchen appliances in a commercial kitchen

Ansul Piranha

This is a nozzle-eye view from the vantage point of an Ansul Piranha P34 looking down at the hazards 65 inches below. (That’s 1651mm to you metric-types.) This particular nozzle is part of an installation we are completing today into a Halton Group ventilated ceiling.

Piranha is an evolution of the familiar technology employed by Ansul R102 with the addition of mains-fed water following the discharge of PRX chemical extinguishant.

As a result, a nozzle provides much greater coverage and can be mounted much higher than standard Ansul or other comparable systems.

JEM are the acknowledged authority for the design and installation of these systems, including hybrid implementations where Ansul R102 and Piranha co-exist.
